InPics | A glimpse of Grandview Maofeng Bay Lantern Festival

The Grandview Maofeng Bay Lantern Festival, featuring Tang Dynasty style was held by Maofeng mountainside in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, from January 25 to January 27.

At the event, programs such as Tang Dynasty style dance, Xi'an acrobatics, intangible cultural heritage Hong Quan (Chinese martial arts), situational dramas, and village catwalk shows were performed in turns.

In addition, the lantern festival set up a Tang Dynasty-style trendy market, gathering more than 50 stalls and bringing authentic delicacies such as Taihe roast chicken (太和烧鸡) and roast pork ribs (吊烧排骨).

People could also experience activities such as archery, pot throwing, feeding camels, and watching open-air movies, and participate in lottery activities, with the chance to receive gift packages such as DJI drones, Grandview Mall Aquarium tickets, and black goats.
