As the cold air weakens, temperatures in Guangdong are forecasted to see a significant rise from January 29, while humidity will go up, according to the Guangdong Meteorological Observatory.
Most parts of Guangdong are expected to experience a week of continuous humid weather ("huinantian" in Chinese) from January 30.
On January 30, northern Guangdong and the northern Pearl River Delta will see moderate rain with localized heavy rain. Other regions will mainly be overcast with light rain. Lows: 9℃～12℃ in northern Guangdong, 14℃～18℃ in southern Guangdong, and 12℃～14℃ in the remaining areas.
On January 31, northern Guangdong is predicted to witness light rain or scattered light rain. Other regions will mainly be overcast with cloudy periods and localized light rain. Lows: 13℃～15℃ in northern Guangdong, 17℃～19℃ in southern Guangdong, and 15℃～17℃ in the remaining areas.
On February 1, northern Guangdong will see light rain. Other regions will be overcast with cloudy spells and scattered light rain. Lows: 15℃～17℃ in northern Guangdong, 18℃～20℃ in the remaining areas.
