The Chinese Museum Trending Searches have recently released its 2026 first-quarter rankings. Chaozhou Museum is listed among China's Top 100 Popular Museums, securing the 27th position in the Top 50 Municipal Museums category.
This marks the third time the museum has entered the national Top 100 list, following its inclusion in both the first and fourth quarters of 2025.
The ranking evaluates more than 6,000 museums nationwide, considering factors such as infrastructure, visitor feedback, online presence and cultural branding, reflecting overall public recognition and cultural influence of these institutions.
In recent years, Chaozhou Museum has leveraged the city's historical heritage and collection to improve exhibitions and expand public engagement, bringing traditional Chaozhou culture to wider audiences. In the latest provincial ranking, it is also ranked among the top 10 museums in Guangdong.
