A delegation from a well-known Saudi Arabian company recently visited the Zhanjiang Global Sourcing Center for site visits and business talks focused on Zhanjiang's competitive industries.
During the visit, the delegation focused on selecting distinctive products with a competitive edge and strong suitability for Middle Eastern markets. Smart cooking appliances, multi-functional cookers, and multi-purpose dryers are among the items that closely match local household scenarios and consumer demand. The two sides held in-depth talks on bulk procurement, product localization, and market adaptation.
Zhanjiang's high-quality prepared seafood products also attracted significant attention. With its exceptional coastal fishery resources, the city offers a wide range of standardized prepared seafood products, including golden pompano, fish fillets, and shrimp products, known for their quality and diversity. The delegation learned about the processing techniques, cold chain storage systems, and export qualifications of companies such as Guangdong Evergreen Conglomerate Co., Ltd., and expressed strong interest in long-term, stable supply partnerships.
The delegation also conducted an on-site survey at Guangdong Baijia Wire & Cable Industrial Co., Ltd., where they gained a detailed understanding of its cable production techniques and quality inspection procedures. The two sides held in-depth discussions on product pricing and overseas distribution models. If an agreement on pricing terms is reached, the Saudi partner may become Baijia Cable's regional agent in Saudi Arabia.
Looking ahead, the Zhanjiang Global Sourcing Center will continue to leverage its platform strengths to smooth communication channels with overseas buyers. It will support more premium Zhanjiang specialty products as they expand into Middle Eastern markets. Additionally, the center aims to further enhance the international reputation of "Zhanjiang Intelligent Manufacturing" and "Zhanjiang Aquatic Products".
