As of 17:00 on October 27, a total of 278,000 overseas buyers from 218 countries and regions had attended the 140th Canton Fair, up 13.4 percent from the same period of the previous session. A total of 152 overseas business organizations and 384 leading buyer companies attended the fair as delegations.
Held under the theme "Quality Home Life," the recently concluded second phase focused on household items, gifts and decorations, and building materials and furniture. It spanned 515,000 square meters with over 25,000 booths.
The strong turnout underscores the Canton Fair's enduring appeal as a one-stop sourcing platform for global buyers while laying a solid foundation for the upcoming third phase.
The third and final phase is scheduled for October 31 to November 4, shifting the spotlight to toys, maternity and baby products, fashion, home textiles, stationery, and health and leisure goods.
