The 2025 Macao-Hengqin Craft Market concluded on June 15, drawing nearly 42,000 visitors to the Hengqin Cultural Arts Centre for a four-day celebration of creativity and cultural exchange. The event featured over 170 stalls offering a diverse range of cultural and creative products from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macao SARs, as well as Thailand, Malaysia, and other countries.

Spanning 6,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor space, the market was divided into five thematic zones: creative market, themed exhibitions, art talks, performances, and specialty cuisine. A highlight of the event was the participation of 50 Macao-based cultural and creative brands, selected through an open call, showcasing a variety of original products, including clothing, accessories, and original illustrations.

The market also featured special exhibition booths dedicated to the 15th National Games and Macao's intangible cultural heritage items, offering attendees the opportunity to explore and purchase related products and handicrafts.

Meanwhile, the outdoor theatre hosted 11 performances and 4 sessions on art, collectively attracting nearly 5,000 spectators.

To further enhance its reach, the event partnered with local attractions like Chimelong Hengqin and hotels in the area, distributing coupon incentives and holding raffles to encourage visitors to explore multiple destinations during their stay.

Organizers reported total sales surpassed RMB 600,000, underscoring strong market demand and reinforcing the event's aim of bringing “art closer to life.”
