Guangzhou held inauguration ceremonies for the Guangzhou International Exhibition Group and the Guangzhou International Trade Group on June 11, 2025.
The Guangzhou International Exhibition Group is dedicated to supporting the city's industrial economy. Positioned to compete with leading global exhibition enterprises, the group aims to establish a strong presence in Guangzhou, serve the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, expand nationwide, and build a global footprint. It will offer a comprehensive, one-stop platform for exhibition services and operations.
The exhibition group will leverage Lingnan Group's strengths in business travel, hospitality, and related sectors. Adopting a "one industry, one exhibition" model, it will focus on attracting and developing industry-specific exhibitions. Priority will be given to strategic sectors such as intelligent manufacturing and biomedicine, utilizing technology to drive industrial transformation and upgrading.
The group will partner with Guangya Frankfurt, Guangzhou Industrial Control Group, Guangzhou Digital Technology Group, and GPHL to co-develop exhibitions like "Digital Intelligence Future" and "Biomedicine," supporting the growth of intelligent manufacturing, the digital economy, and the biomedicine sector.
Focusing on its dual core businesses—comprehensive foreign trade services and supply chain operations—the Guangzhou International Trade Group aims to become a trillion-yuan platform for integrated domestic and international trade, serving as a key hub for high-quality foreign trade in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Building on Guangzhou Light Industry Group's deep expertise in commerce and trade, the group will provide one-stop digital services encompassing customs clearance, inspections, taxation, foreign exchange, financing, credit insurance, logistics, and warehousing. Its platform will support deal facilitation, payment, delivery, and data-driven operations.
The group will prioritize cross-border supply chains for bulk and intermediate goods in sectors such as minerals, chemicals, and mechanical and electrical equipment. It will offer vertical supply chain services that cover raw material sourcing, overseas warehousing and industrial parks, and global distribution. As a trusted "buy global, sell global" partner, the group will help SMEs expand internationally and support Guangzhou’s Foreign Trade Doubling Plan through comprehensive, compliant trade service channels.
