Shishan Town (Nanhai District, Foshan) officially released a smart manufacturing development blueprint at an Industry-City Integration Promotion Forum held on June 18.
To boost smart manufacturing development, the town has rolled out a "Five-City" development layout, comprising Foshan Air-Rail Hub City, Shishan Science City, Bo'ai Lake New City, Dataoyuan Vitality City, and Foshan International Logistics and Trade City.
On the same day, coinciding with the full launch of Foshan Metro Line 3, 19 projects were signed at a ceremony and a series of innovation platforms and development initiatives unveiled.
With the full operation of Foshan Metro Line 3, relying on Foshan West Station, Foshan Shadi Airport, the expressway network, and the rail transit system, Shishan has emerged as one of China's rare town-level economic hubs that integrate high-speed rail, metro, airport, and expressway connections, further strengthening its unique transport and geographic strengths.
Recently, Shishan Town has secured over 20 industrial projects with a total investment exceeding 15 billion yuan.
