August 29, 2025, on the Gregorian calendar marks the seventh day of the seventh lunar month—China's traditional Qixi Festival (the Double Seventh Festival). While preserving the ancient custom of "praying for craftsmanship," people today have also imbued this festival with romantic significance, celebrating it as the Chinese Valentine's Day. Across Guangdong, many creatively designed photo spots have contributed to this wave of love declarations, bearing witness to every true love and turning romance into something timeless.

#Yangjiang "Heart Lake"
Nestled among Yangjiang's mountains, geological movements have sculpted a perfect heart-shaped lake. Emerald waters and stratified rock walls compose poetic verses upon the earth. Light at dawn and dusk sweeps through lush vegetation, painting ever-changing patterns of light and shadow upon 140-million-year-old sedimentary rocks. This natural creation needs no human definition—its very existence is the purest interpretation of eternity. Photographer @Guan Zhendong (@关镇东) pressed the shutter at this moment, allowing Guangdong's mountains and seas to bear witness to love, etching a fleeting heartbeat into timeless eternity.

#Echeng Bridge
Above the river in Huizhou, the heart-shaped arch bridge embodies architectural ingenuity through geometric poetry, its 120-meter span stretching gracefully into the dusk. The gilded sunset melts into the mirror-like river, while glass walls on the opposite shore reflect the last daylight. Light and shadow flow through the bridge's hollow openings. As the city transitions from orange-red to indigo-blue, this symbiotic structure of modern architecture and natural river scenery writes a romantic dialogue in steel, unique to Guangdong.

#Yingde Jiqingli "Heart Island"
Morning light spills across Jiqingli's lake, blending meandering boardwalks and scattered emerald isles into a green tapestry woven by rays. The boardwalks sketch ink-like lines upon jade-colored waters, while vegetation unfolds the secret language of growth under the interplay of light and shadow. Amidst the changes of time, the shimmering light and leaf veins are frozen by the lens of @Jiqingli Xianhu Tourist Resort (@积庆里仙湖旅游度假区), capturing a fleeting moment of natural brilliance during the Qixi Festival.

#Shenzhen "Bay Area Love"
Through the lens of photographer @Dai Jie (@戴杰), neon and steel-blue form a heart-shaped cut-out, framing the urban skyline as a dynamic painting. Stainless steel surfaces reflect the folds of clouds and time, while sunlight in Shenzhen Bay coats "Bay Area Love" with flowing gold. This sculpture, standing between nature and the city, uses the eternal quality of metal to inscribe every moment of the Greater Bay Area's development with a footnote on love.

#Zhuhai "Heart Tree"
A banyan tree in Zhuhai naturally forms a perfect heart-shaped silhouette, its leaves weaving geometric poetry in hues of yellow and green under the light. Against a backdrop of blue sky and high-rises, the vibrant grass supports thriving life. Photographer @Zhong Fan (@钟凡) captures this moment—a natural wonder in the city, recording the folds of time with its growth rings, turning beautiful instants into eternity.
