Following the historical context of "the Millennium Commercial Capital," Guangzhou's torch relay route covered a total length of 11.6 kilometers. Along the way, it featured both historical structures such as the Five-Goat Sculpture and the ancient city wall of the Ming Dynasty, as well as modern landmarks including Ersha Island and Xinghai Concert Hall. The torch relay facilitates a dialogue between the ancient and the modern.

When all 50 legs of the relay (featuring 68 torchbearers) gathered at Haixinsha in Guangzhou and formed an incredibly spectacular phalanx, a magnificent force of unity swept through the entire venue.

Let's jointly look forward to the moment when the sacred flame of the 15th National Games is lit at the opening ceremony on Nov. 9!
