These days, Guangdong's late-autumn scenery looks straight out of a painting.
Along roadsides, on pedestrian overpasses, in park corners, at the entrances to old alleys, along riverside promenades and beside campus walls, flowers are everywhere. There is no need to search for the perfect photo spot. Look down or look up, and blooms are all around you. With the scenery at its best and flowers in full bloom, Guangdong is well worth capturing with a quick snap.
Starting today, IP GUANGDONG is launching the "Snap the Blooms Along the Way" campaign, inviting everyone to capture the most beautiful floral scenes around them in Guangdong with a camera or smartphone. Friends from across the Asia-Pacific will soon be arriving, and every petal you capture will become part of a magnificent floral welcome for our visitors.
What to photograph
· Flower-lined streets: Roads, pedestrian overpasses, bus stops and cycling paths surrounded by blossoms.
· Stories of people and flowers: Graceful figures among blossoms and people looking up to admire flowers in old streets and alleys.
· Autumn blooms in Lingnan: Avenues lined with pink blossoms, cascading curtains of flowers and any autumn floral scene you happen upon.
· Flowers meet the city: Modern city skylines framed by seas of flowers and the everyday bustle of old streets beneath the shade of blossoms.

How to capture your shots
· Smartphones or cameras, telephoto or wide-angle lenses—anything goes.
· Professional skills are not required. What matters is capturing something authentic, beautiful and full of warmth.
· Submissions must be original photographs. Please include the shooting location and the name of the flower (if known). You are also welcome to share how you felt when taking the photo.
How to participate
· Submission period: From now until November 22.
· How to submit: Visit www.ipguangdong.cn and upload your original, high-quality photographs of Guangdong's floral scenery on the homepage. Select the "Snap the Blooms Along the Way" campaign.
· Submission rules: There is no limit to the number of entries per person. All submissions must be original works by the photographer. IP GUANGDONG, the organizer, will have the right to display submitted works for non-commercial purposes.
