Discover stunning rice fields of Yakou in Zhongshan this autumn

In October, the late-season rice nears harvest. As autumn breezes sweep southward, a golden panorama of abundance is once again unfolding across the Guangdong landscape.

Among Guangdong's many picturesque villages, Yakou Village in Nanlang Subdistrict, Zhongshan, stands out with a charm all its own. Nestled in the heart of the Pearl River Delta and facing Lingdingyang Bay to the east, this centuries-old village offers new stories and fresh experiences. Here, visitors sip coffee, listen to music and photograph the scenery in the rice fields.

Yakou is not only one of the first model villages designated under the High-Quality Development Project for Guangdong Counties, Towns and Villages. Its innovative integration of agriculture, culture and tourism, and its outstanding success in showcasing rural beauty, have also earned it a place among Guangdong's 2026 International Communication Annual Cases.

Harvest time has come around again. Looking out over the rice fields in front of him that are like golden canvases, Tan Jinkun, Party secretary and director of the Village Committee of Yakou Village in Nanlang Subdistrict, Zhongshan, is full of vigor.

This time, he has taken a new role: an IP GUANGDONG creator. As a shutterbug, Tan will pick up his camera and join fellow photography enthusiasts in capturing this golden rural landscape, sharing Yakou's beauty with the world through IP GUANGDONG.

Grab your camera, gather your family and friends, and come to Yakou in Zhongshan for a limited edition date with the rice fields while the season lasts!
