On September 17, Khaby Lame, a Senegalese-born Italian influencer, arrived in Guangzhou. He visited the Canton Tower, one of the city's iconic landmarks, for sightseeing and received a toy of the white dolphin, the mascot of the 15th National Games, as well as a model of the Canton Tower!
The 25-year-old, who has 162 million followers on TikTok, rose to global fame with his silent reactions poking fun at overly complicated "life hacks." His clips have become viral memes, especially among young Chinese netizens, who call him "Speechless Brother" for his trademark wordless reactions.
His China tour began in Beijing on September 9, followed by visits to Tianjin, Shanghai and Chongqing, before arriving in Guangzhou.
