Hello Guangzhou, the Guangzhou public security bureau's new visitor service platform, was launched on Friday, hoping to resolve longstanding pain points for the city's rising number of inbound visitors and expats.
Built right into the Alipay application, the system functions as an all-in-one online hub that integrates government services, daily life amenities, tourism and exhibition resources, and an exclusive service for the China Import and Export Fair, or Canton Fair, held twice a year in the city, according to a statement released by the bureau.

"Moving forward, the Guangzhou public security bureau will fully leverage the platform's advantages, diversify promotion channels, and enhance its public visibility and social influence," the statement said.
The launch is set to further optimize Guangzhou's international business and service environment, offer more streamlined services for inbound foreigners, and bolster the city's development.
