Shuangshan Ninth Road, a main road in Maonan District, Maoming City, recently began construction on the final approximately 494-meter section. The road is expected to open to traffic by the end of this year.
The Shuangshan Ninth Road construction project spans about 1,347 meters. Designed as an urban arterial road, it features eight lanes (four in each direction), a width of 45 meters, and a design speed of 40 km/h.
The completion of the road will be of great importance for Maoming's development. It will create an important corridor alongside Shuangshan Eighth Road for the city's Maodong Area, effectively diverting traffic pressure and bringing smooth flow and vitality to the northeastern part of the urban area.
