At the ceremony, the couples in traditional wedding attire celebrated with family and friends, shared wedding wine, and participated in Hakka customs.

A highlight of the event was a symbolic tree-planting ceremony, where the couples planted saplings and exchanged heartfelt vows. "Planting a tree on our special day is deeply meaningful," said groom Wang Daren, adding that both love and life thrive through dedication and perseverance.

The event also featured a Youth Market, where the newlyweds enjoyed traditional crafts like farmer-style painting and tie-dye, sampled Longmen specialties, and collected keepsakes. The blend of "wedding + intangible cultural heritage" added a festive and memorable touch.

In recent years, Guangdong has promoted youth-focused marriage and matchmaking events, benefiting over 20,000 single young adults.
