The 2025 Guangzhou Dragon Boat Championships & Water Sports Carnival will take place on May 17/18 at the Chengma Luhu Water Sports Center in Yuexiu District, featuring competitive 300-meter dragon boat races and vibrant cultural activities.

May 18th (Water Sports Carnival)
The Guangzhou Water Sports Carnival has officially opened registration, promising a spectacular blend of traditional heritage and modern aquatic thrills! This year's event will transform the Luhu Lake into a vibrant playground featuring adrenaline-pumping competitions, cultural immersion, and family-friendly fun.
Families can participate in paid water sports experiences: ① Kayaking (2 persons/boat), ② Stand-up paddleboarding (1 person/board), ③ Water cycling (1 person/bike), or ④ Dragon boating (minimum 8 family groups required)."
