The highly anticipated 2025 VAC Electronic Music Festival is gearing up to take over Hengqin Chimelong Bay Hotel from May 3 to 4, promising an electrifying experience for music enthusiasts across Asia. Announced at a press conference held on March 10, this year’s festival will feature groundbreaking additions, including a massive drone light show and fireworks.

The festival will showcase a star-studded lineup of global electronic music icons, including Grammy Award-winning bass music pioneer Skrillex, hardcore dubstep duo Mellodeath, trance legend Armin van Buuren, and French dark electronic trailblazer Gesaffelstein.

A standout feature of the 2025 edition is the combination of technology and art to create a multi-sensory experience. Nearly 1,000 drones will form a dazzling light matrix in the sky, synchronized with surround-style fireworks. This innovative approach aims to redefine the large-scale music festival experience, setting a new benchmark for the industry.

Since its inception in 2018, VAC has become a flagship event in China’s electronic music scene, touring cities such as Wuhan, Haikou, Hefei, and now Hengqin. With its mission to fuse technology and art, the festival continues to bridge the gap between youth culture in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and global music trends.
