The largest Gundam Base flagship store on the Chinese mainland officially opened in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, on Friday, introducing diversified products and services to deepen the connection with Chinese fans.

The new flagship location – the largest in terms of both floor space and product variety – features unique store design and displays that provide visitors with an engaging, immersive shopping experience.

Staying true to the brand's concept, the decoration of the Gundam base flagship store in Guangzhou incorporates the original material of Gundam models, known as "Gundam particles".

In addition to the Gundam-themed settings, the Gundam Base flagship store in Guangzhou is an official experiential hub that combines model displays, merchandise sales and experiential activities.

The flagship store, covering an area of 490 square meters, showcases approximately 600 types of Gundam model kits and around 450 types of completed models, making it the largest of its kind in the Chinese mainland.

"In China, we will continue to implement an IP-centric strategy, introducing diversified products and services to deepen our connection with fans," said Miyatani Daiki, CEO of Bandai Namco Holdings China Co.
