China-Mongolia joint media tour highlights Guangdong's tech transformation and future collaboration

A recent joint media tour between China and Mongolia took place in Guangdong from December 2 to 4. More than 30 journalists from Mongolian outlets like News.mn and Zuunii Medee, alongside Chinese media, visited innovation hubs and leading tech companies such as the GBA Life and Health Industry Innovative Zone, Aridge, Pony.ai, BYD, and UBTECH Robotics.

"What impressed me the most was the leading position of China in the entire AI sector worldwide. Through our interviews this time, we aim to publicize the cutting-edge technologies we've witnessed to Mongolia, so that Mongolia can benefit from these advancements in these fields as early as possible," said N. Tselmuun, the Member of the Leadership Committee of the Confederation of Mongolian Journalists.

B. Tumendemberel, Reporter from Zuunii Medee, was particularly delighted by educational robots, believing they would greatly help Mongolian children learning Chinese.

The tour showcased Guangdong's determined shift from traditional manufacturing to intelligent creation, with achievements in fields like autonomous driving and robotics marking its high-quality development. This transformation offers a model for regional cooperation.

Looking ahead, significant potential exists for China-Mongolia collaboration. Technologically, Guangdong's smart solutions can meet Mongolia's needs in urban development and green energy.

In education, AI-powered tools for learning Chinese and vocational training directly address interests expressed during the tour. Continued media and industrial exchanges will pave a broader path for mutual benefit in the digital era.
