"Made in Dongguan" wins global fans at Canton Fair

As the 137th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) kicked off, Dongguan-made products are capturing international attention and admiration. Foreign buyers and influencers from around the globe are not only placing large-scale orders but also publicly endorsing the quality, innovation, and transformation behind Dongguan's manufacturing sector.

"Dongguan is a beautiful, modern city, you must visit!" Barrett, a British video blogger with over a million followers, exclaimed while filming at the fair. Originally from the UK but now living in China, Barrett has been a regular visitor to the Canton Fair for over a decade. This year, he interviewed dozens of international buyers who echoed the same sentiment: they're here for quality, and Dongguan delivers.

Standing at the booth of UNI-T, Barrett was visibly impressed. "China now leads the world in technology and industrial strength. Dongguan's companies, from Huawei to OPPO, vivo, and UNI-T, are building products that the world can trust," Barrett said. "If you're looking for world-class innovation, Dongguan is the place to visit."

Barrett wasn't the only one impressed. Egyptian automotive supplier Mohamed Elgendy was drawn to a high-performance oscilloscope at UNI-T's booth. "It's exactly what our industry needs," he said. "This brand is already well-known in Egypt, and now that I know it comes from Dongguan, my confidence in it has only grown."

Based in Songshan Lake, UNI-T is a listed company on China's STAR Market and one of the top names in the field of industrial testing and measurement equipment. It represents the new face of Dongguan, high-tech, sophisticated, and globally competitive.

"We love Made-in-Dongguan!" exclaimed seasoned buyer Yasith from Dubai, who, along with his father, spoke highly of Dongguan-made products at the Canton Fair. At the booth of a Dongguan's kitchen appliance manufacturer, he spent hours in discussion with company representatives, expressing keen interest in their energy-efficient and smart home solutions.

"My family has been importing from China for over 25 years," Yasith said. "We've always trusted Chinese quality, especially Dongguan products. They are reliable and fast-evolving. In the Middle East market, Dongguan-made goods have a strong reputation."

With increasing demand for energy-efficient and smart appliances in the Middle East region, Yasith plans to expand his cooperation with Dongguan suppliers. "This time, I'm here for air conditioners, refrigerators, TVs, and smart home devices too. I've already told one company to expect me back. I might fill my suitcase with samples!"

"Made in Dongguan" is no longer just a label, it's becoming a global standard for quality, reliability, and technological leadership. And with enthusiastic ambassadors like Barrett and international buyers ready to sign deals, Dongguan's future on the global stage looks brighter than ever.
