Gorgeous flowers bloom in Dianbai

Before the morning fog had lifted, villagers had already stepped into Dianbai's newly built Huacheng Square, embracing the fresh air of the flower sea.

Located in Zhaitou Village, Shuidong Street, Dianbai District, Maoming City, Huacheng Square—a pastoral complex consisting of a hundred-mu (about 16 acres) of flower sea and a sports park—was recently completed, drawing visitors from afar.

In the flower sea, over a dozen types of flowers compete in splendor: cosmos, lavender, zinnia, sulfur cosmos, marigold, ground chrysanthemum, rudbeckia, gaillardia, and big flower coreopsis, creating a vibrant palette.

Scenic installations such as windmill cottages, hot-air balloon models, retro tape recorder sculptures, and suspended staircases are scattered throughout the flower sea, prompting visitors to pause frequently for photos.

Two pavilions built on small hills serve as perfect viewing platforms. From these heights, one can watch birds skimming over emerald flower fields, red-tiled white-walled homes dotting the floral landscape, and the glass facades of urban high-rises glistening in the distance, unfolding a scroll of urban-rural coexistence.
