On March 23, the 2025 City Cycling Challenge in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Xinyi Station) started at the Xinyi Sports Park. The event attracted more than 2,000 cycling enthusiasts from all over the country. They traveled through the mountains, waters, streets and alleys, embarking on a beautiful journey to discover the charm of Xinyi, Maoming.

The cyclists started from the Xinyi Sports Park and along the way passed through places such as Meigang Park, Liuyun Pavilion, Xinyi School Affiliated to South China Normal University, Zhongzhou Square, and Shanshui Park. The outline of a newly planned and constructed county urban area, Yudu New District, was clearly visible.

Along the track, the Bijiang Gallery Greenway and the Ten-mile Paddy Fields fully demonstrated the beauty of Xinyi's landscapes and pastoral scenery. The verdant paddy fields merged with the clear blue sky, and the cyclists passed through them, as if they were cycling in a picturesque realm.

Over the years, the City Cycling Challenge in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has built a sports stage for cycling enthusiasts from different places to exchange and compete.
