China Southern plans to carry out 3,000 flights on international routes during the holiday. Given the high demand for destinations such as Japan and Southeast Asia, which have been popular from the summer vacation through the National Day holiday, additional flights will be scheduled from Guangzhou to Southeast Asian cities, including Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi, Penang, Phuket and Sabah.

On domestic routes, over 20,000 flights will be available during the holiday. Popular destinations include Xinjiang, Guizhou, Yunan, Gansu, and other western cities in China. Added flights will focus on the tourist hotspots in northwest, southwest, and east China. More than 2,300 flights to these regions will be arranged during the holiday. Additional routes include from Guangzhou to Kashgar, Linyi, Luzhou, from Shenzhen to Dali, Lijiang, Xining, from Beijing Daxing to Xinjiang Kashgar, Altay, from Urumqi to Kunming, Hangzhou, Jinan and other routes.

Special care will be provided to passenger groups such as older people, children, and first-time passengers. The carrier will provide reminders about the importance of air travel. In addition, there will be celebrating activities on nearly 30 airlines departing from major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen for the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the PRC.

Moreover, several services have been provided at its Guangzhou hub, including pre-checking passenger numbers, opening additional group counters and service desks for special passengers, and deploying extra staff to guide travelers during peak hours.

Additional measures will include opening special lanes for late-arriving passengers and setting up more mobile bright counters to help passengers quickly change their tickets. Check-in and boarding gates will also be enhanced to provide smooth and coordinated services.
