On November 25th, the Huangmaohai Sea-Crossing Passage passed its inspection and acceptance, marking the successful completion of all construction tasks for this national key cross-sea channel project, which underwent a year and a half of preparatory work followed by four years of construction. The Passage is now poised to officially open in December of this year.
Once operational, the travel time from Zhuhai to Jiangmen will be reduced from over an hour to approximately 30 minutes, significantly altering the current situation of limited transportation links between the western coastal areas of Guangdong and the core regions of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
