Recently, the 31st Annual Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) Thea Awards Gala was held in Los Angeles, USA. Chimelong Zhuhai Hengqin Chimelong International Ocean Resort’s "Chimelong Spaceship Park" and its original large-scale themed show "Chimelong Show" won the Thea Awards for Outstanding Achievement for Best Marine Theme Park and Best Spectacular Show, respectively.
The TEA Thea Awards are regarded as the "Oscars" of the global theme park industry and are considered one of the highest honors in the field. Creators from nearly 1,500 global-themed entertainment companies, including Disney, Universal Studios, and Chimelong, gathered to witness the presentation of this prestigious honor this year.
Since 2014, Chimelong has been a frequent winner at the TEA Awards, receiving the honor eight times in the past decade. In 2024, Su Zhigang, Chairman of Chimelong Group, won the TEA Lifetime Achievement Award, becoming the first Asian entrepreneur to receive this award.
The selection of Chimelong Spaceship Park and Chimelong Show from projects around 32 countries highlights the tourism industry in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin on the global stage once again.
As the construction of Hengqin continues to deepen, the tourism and culture industry has become a vital engine driving regional integration and development. The Chimelong Zhuhai Hengqin Resort has attracted over 100 million visitors, significantly boosting regional tourism revenue and employment.

Performed by top circus artists from more than 20 countries, the Chimelong Show includes acrobatics, dance, comedy, and extreme sports. With three dimensions - land, sea, and air - the audience is immersed in a dazzling audiovisual feast, experiencing the unique charm of circus culture in 90 minutes.
This spring, Chimelong Spaceship Park brought the world's first "Killer Whale Music Festival" to unlock the joy for tourists. Visitors can take photos with the killer whale family known as the "undersea pandas", enjoy performances in the killer whale science theatre, and participate in the killer whale fireworks parade.
