Women's Volleyball (Adult)

Time: November 7-November 19

Venue: Macao Venetian Arena, Macao East Asian Games Dome

Introduction: Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of 6 players each compete on a court separated by a net. Play begins with a serve: the serving player strikes the ball to send it over the net into the opposing team's court. Competition continues uninterrupted until the ball touches the ground, goes out of bounds, or one team fails to legally return the ball. Volleyball matches use a best-of-five format. During play, the team that wins each rally earns 1 point (rally scoring system).
