Introduction: Swimming is an individual or team (relay) racing sport. The four competitive swimming strokes are butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle. In competition, in addition to events featuring these four individual strokes, medley events are also contested. The stroke order for the individual medley is butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle, while the stroke order for the medley relay is backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and freestyle.
