Venue: Guangdong International Rowing Center (广东国际划船中心)
Introduction: Rowing competitions are held on flat water. From start to finish, the course consists of straight, buoyed lanes of equal width. The standard course is 2,000 meters long, with each lane 13.5 meters wide. International events on standard courses typically feature six or more lanes. Coastal Rowing Beach Sprint races usually start on the beach: athletes run to their boats, board, row around the designated turning buoys, return to the beach, and sprint across the finish line on the sand.
