Global buyers will soon enjoy a wider range of products from Guangdong at faster speeds and more competitive prices. This follows a host of positive updates unveiled at a provincial cross-border e-commerce seminar held in China's tech city Shenzhen on April 29.
Global buyers can enjoy diverse consumption choices in Guangdong as the province has China's most complete industrial supply chains, hosting 21 industrial clusters that cover everything from 3C electronics and smart home appliances to lighting, apparel, and beauty.
Moreover, Guangdong is partnering with major overseas platforms such as Amazon, Shopee, Lazada, and SHEIN to connect overseas buyers directly with local manufacturers in the industry clusters mentioned above. By cutting out numerous middle links in traditional bulk trade, global consumers can share the wealth of Guangdong's high-quality products at more affordable prices and with faster delivery. By connecting directly with source manufacturers, they can also enjoy more personalized, customized products.
At the seminar held on April 29, new supportive policies and standardized export pilots were also rolled out to cut logistics and customs clearance costs and streamline delivery for cross-border e-commerce.
