Brazilian buyer: Canton Fair as a premier hub for innovation and new trends

On October 15, the 138th Canton Fair commenced in Guangzhou, once again establishing itself as the world's essential platform for discovering the latest products, pioneering technologies, and emerging industry trends. Lucas Claudino, a Brazilian buyer at the 138th Canton Fair whose business is in the electronics sector, is attracted to the Canton Fair by its impressive number of new products revealed every year.

Last year, he visited the Canton Fair for the first time, searching for products and cooperation partners.

This year, his goal is to find new solutions for some specific needs of his business in Brazil, targeting special niche markets; that is exactly why he returned to the Canton Fair.

The record number of new products is a key indicator of the Fair's dynamism. This year, the Fair is hosting over 600 sessions dedicated to new product debuts, representing a remarkable 37% increase compared to the previous session. This underscores the Canton Fair's critical role as a launchpad for global commerce.

These figures resonate with Lucas Claudino's experience at the Canton Fair. He regards the Canton Fair as an essential venue offering a wide range of products and especially as a place where the newest trends, technologies, and products are available.

"I am always able to find new ideas and solutions at the Canton Fair, which stimulates further business development," noted Lucas Claudino.

Over the years, the Canton Fair has consistently evolved from a comprehensive trade show into a trendsetting event. The concentrated display of innovations in smart tech and green solutions here is not just for show; it sets the direction for global manufacturing and consumer markets for the coming year.

Furthermore, the products on display at the Canton Fair are not merely incremental updates. Statistics reveal that a majority of these new items are technologically advanced: 63% incorporate innovative technologies, 48% boast significant functional upgrades, 47% embody green and low-carbon principles, and 31% utilize new materials. This data confirms that the Fair is a concentrated showcase of cutting-edge manufacturing and R&D.
