From scenic mountain towns to historic villages, follow these routes to pick fresh lychees and experience the region's rich culture and landscapes all in one delicious trip.
Guangzhou
Nanping Meditation Town → Shimen National Forest Park
南平静修小镇→石门国家森林公园
Guangzhou's Conghua District is the latest-ripening high-quality lychee production area in Guangdong, thanks in part to its mineral-rich hot spring water and mountainous environment. The orchards in Nanping Meditation Town, nestled in the mountains and forests of Wenquan Town, are best known for the "Liuxi Guiwei" and "Shuangke Huaizhi" varieties.

Visitors can pick and taste lychees right in the orchard, walk through bamboo forests, enjoy stream hikes, and relax along the scenic Fengxi trail. An overnight stay in the quiet resort town can be followed by a visit to Shimen National Forest Park, where water activities and forest adventures await.
