Unlock the charm of Zhuhai & Jiangmen along Huangmaohai Bridge

On December 11, the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage (also known as Huangmaohai Bridge) officially began trial operations, reducing travel time between Zhuhai's Jinwan District and Taishan County-level City in Jiangmen from over one hour to just 30 minutes.

Zhuhai

Huangmaohai Bridge Mangrove Wetland Park (黄茅海大桥红树林湿地公园)

Located in Jinwan District, near the Huangmaohai Bridge, this wetland park spans 2.07 square kilometers and features scenic trails, eco-exhibition halls, boat docks, and bird-watching pavilions. As an important stop on the migratory routes of rare birds, the park attracts species such as pelicans, egrets, and wild ducks. Visitors can take a traditional-style boat to glide through the wetlands, observing birds in their natural habitat while soaking in the serene atmosphere.

Jinsha Beach (金沙滩)

Jinsha Beach, the largest in Zhuhai, offers a 3,000-meter stretch of soft golden sand and clear blue waters. Located east of Zhuhai Airport, it's a perfect spot for beach fun with inflatable castles and water slides, making it a hit for both kids and adults. When the sun sets, the shimmering waves create a mesmerizing golden glow, a must-see for beach lovers.

Hengshiji Beach (横石基沙滩)

West of Zhuhai Airport lies Hengshiji Beach, known as the city's best sunset-viewing spot. With its tranquil waters reflecting the golden hues of twilight, it's a romantic destination for camping, tide-chasing, or simply soaking in the coastal vibes.

Just steps from the beach is the Shalan Sunset Photography Camp, a photogenic spot with trees, verdant meadows, and minimalist white houses, perfect for capturing Instagram-worthy moments.

Mutouchong Village (木头冲村)

Nestled at the foot of Yanlang Mountain in Jinwan District, Mutouchong Village boasts classic Lingnan-style stone houses built in the 1960s. A 645-meter elevated walkway weaves through the lush forest and flower fields, offering visitors a picturesque escape. You can also try the unique local zongzi featuring Chinese herbs!

Jiangmen

Taicheng Historic and Cultural District (台城历史文化街区)

Known as one of the hometowns of overseas Chinese, Taishan boasts several historic and cultural landmarks. Among them, the Taicheng Historic and Cultural District, built in the 1920s and 1930s, stands out for its well-preserved architecture. Featuring over 40 streets of connected Qilou (arcade houses), and 1,500 distinctive buildings, the district offers a fascinating blend of Chinese and Western styles. Visitors can stroll through ancient alleys, explore heritage museums, sip coffee, and visit the Ximen Market to enjoy a memorable day steeped in history and charm.

Chuanshan Archipelago Tourism Resort (川山群岛旅游度假区)

Visitors can admire Southeast Asian-style architecture, taste delicacies like pandan rolls, Vietnamese spring rolls, and layer cakes, and immerse themselves in the history of overseas Chinese culture at the village's museum.
