Chinese President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Donald Trump have agreed to build a constructive China-U.S. relationship of strategic stability based on respect, fairness and reciprocity, according to a release made public after Xi wrapped up his state visit to the United States on Friday.
The release outlined their consensus on eight outcomes.
During the three-day visit, Xi and Trump exchanged in-depth views on bilateral relations as well as major international and regional issues.
