Amid the summer heat, the thousand-acre peach orchards of Lütian Town in Conghua District, Guangzhou, are heavy with ripening fruit, and this year's yield is projected at approximately 56 metric tons.
At the Eagle's Beak peach base in Sancun Village, clusters of fist-sized peaches hang from the branches, their signature beak-like tips and translucent green skin gleaming among the leaves. While some peaches display a red blush, color alone doesn't indicate ripeness. True maturity is marked by full, rounded shapes and a creamy sheen on the green-white skin—signs that distinguish the Eagle's Beak peach from common varieties.
