The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as a hub for China's high-level opening to the world, has continuously made breakthroughs in technological innovation, the digital economy, green transformation, and cultural exchange, leading the global development trend. It also participates in shaping the new era of international communication with its diverse cultural integration.
青年是未来全球叙事的核心力量，大学生更是创新传播的生力军。在技术变革与文明互鉴的时代背景下，青年视角的新闻传播作品能够跨越国界，传递真实、立体、全面的湾区与中国故事，促进世界对共同价值的理解与合作。为激发青年学子的创作活力，提升国际传播作品的创新性与影响力，特举办第二届粤港澳大湾区大学生国际传播作品大赛，搭建国际化传播实践平台，面向全国高校学生征集优秀作品。
Youth are the core force of future global narratives, and college students are the new force of innovative communication. In the era of technological transformation and mutual learning among civilizations, news communication works from the youth perspective can transcend national boundaries, convey true, multi-dimensional, and comprehensive stories of China particularly the Greater Bay Area, and promote the world's understanding and cooperation on shared values. To stimulate the creative vitality of young students and enhance the innovation and influence of international communication works, the Second Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Communication Competition for College Students is specially organized to build an international communication practice platform and solicit outstanding works from college students across the country.
大赛日程 Timeline
2025年9月1日：启动报名和申报。各校可以学校、院系或校园媒体等名义集体申报，也鼓励学生以个人身份参赛申报。
September 1, 2025: Registration and submission open. Schools can submit entries collectively in the name of the school, department, or campus media, and students are also encouraged to participate as individuals.
2025年12月31日：截止提交作品，组委会对参赛作品进行分类整理。
December 31, 2025: Deadline for submission. The organizing committee will categorize and organize the entries.
2026年3月：进行专家评审。组委会将聘请新闻传播业界和学界专家组成评审委员会，对申报材料进行评审。评奖结果产生后，将举行颁奖典礼。
March 2026: Expert review. The organizing committee will invite experts from the journalism and communication industry and academia to form a judging panel to evaluate the entries. After the award results are determined, an awarding ceremony will be held.
参赛对象 Participants
此次比赛面向在校大学生（包括本科、硕士和博士生），参赛人员以粤港澳三地的在校学生为主，也欢迎其他省市和海外的同学参加。
This competition is open to college students (including undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students), with a focus on students from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. Students from other provinces and cities and overseas are also welcome to participate.
征集内容 What kind of work to submit?
1. 作品主题：“中国故事”“湾区发展”“文明对话与信任重建”“科技创新与未来社会”“气候行动与绿色转型”“青年力量与全球治理”等与国际传播相关的议题。
Theme: Topics related to international communication, such as "China Stories," "Greater Bay Area Development," "Dialogue Among Civilizations and Trust Rebuilding," "Technological Innovation and Future Society," "Climate Action and Green Transformation," "Youth Power and Global Governance."
2. 语言要求：如作品内容包含语言文字，须以外文（如英文、法文、德文、日文等）为主要创作语言，配中文翻译。作品中如无中文翻译，则请另附中文版本或中文翻译。仅以中文为创作语言的作品无参赛资格。
Language Requirements: If the works contain text, it must be primarily created in a foreign language (e.g., English, French, German, Japanese, etc.), accompanied by a Chinese translation. If the works do not include a Chinese translation, please attach a Chinese version or translation separately. Works created solely in Chinese are not eligible for the competition.
3. 作品类别：参赛作品分为6类，包括文字报道、数据新闻、音频视频、纪实摄影、融媒体作品（如网页、H5等）、游戏动漫等。
Work Categories: Entries are divided into 6 categories, including written reports, data journalism, audio and video works, documentary photography, integrated media works (e.g., web pages, H5, etc.), games and animations.
4. 作品内容要求：必须是原创内容，转载、摘抄或整合其他渠道内容的作品不可参赛。可以是近期已发表作品，但应获得发布媒体的同意。作品风格不限，要求主题鲜明、逻辑清晰、叙事流畅，传播手段和形式有一定的创新性。参赛作品不得涉及色情、暴力、宗教与种族歧视等内容，不能与法律法规相抵触。严禁剽窃、抄袭，不得植入广告，不存在知识产权争议。如有AI辅助，请对AI工作部分进行具体说明。
Content Requirements: Works must be original. Entries that are reposted, excerpted, or integrated from other sources are not eligible. Works that have been recently published are acceptable but must have the consent of the publishing media. The style of the works is unrestricted, but it must have a clear theme, logical structure, and smooth narrative, with some innovation in communication methods and forms. Entries must not involve pornography, violence, religious or racial discrimination, or conflict with laws and regulations. Plagiarism and copyright infringement are strictly prohibited, and works must not contain advertisements or intellectual property disputes. If AI assistance is used, please provide a detailed explanation of the AI's contribution.
（1）文字报道要求：包括原创的消息、特稿、深度报道和评论。文件格式为WORD、PDF。外文字数不超过3000字，并附中文翻译版。
Written Report Requirements: Includes original news, features, in-depth reports, and commentaries. File formats: WORD or PDF. The foreign language text should not exceed 3,000 words and must be accompanied by a Chinese translation.
（2）数据新闻作品要求：必须有原创的数据分析内容、可视化呈现，不可直接截图其他来源的数据图表。文件格式为PDF或JPG。须以外语为主要创作语言，配中文翻译（作品中如无中文，则请另附中文翻译）。
Data Journalism Requirements: Works must include original data analysis and visualizations. Direct screenshots of data charts from other sources are not allowed. File formats: PDF or JPG. Works must be primarily created in a foreign language, accompanied by a Chinese translation (if the work does not include Chinese, please attach a Chinese translation separately).
（3）音视频作品要求：单个作品不超过8分钟。音频作品以MP3格式上传。视频作品以MP4格式上传。音视频中的旁白须以外语为主要语言，并附上外语与中文字幕。
Audio and Video Requirements: Each work should not exceed 8 minutes. Audio works must be uploaded in MP3 format. Video works must be uploaded in MP4 format. The voiceover in audio and video works must be primarily in a foreign language, with subtitles in both the foreign language and Chinese.
（4）纪实摄影类作品要求：应为原创作品、一次性拍成的原始图像，不得进行影像的添加、涂抹或合成等后期技术处理，仅可进行适当调色。作品必须真实客观，不接受电脑合成照片和多重曝光。每组作品不超过6张。附上文字说明，对每幅（组）作品的拍摄时间、地点、人物、内容背景等作不超过100字（外文）以内的简要说明，另附中文翻译。作品为JPEG格式，保留EXIF信息。
Documentary Photography Requirements: Works must be original and captured in a single shot. Post-processing techniques such as adding, smudging, or synthesizing images are not allowed, though appropriate color adjustments are permitted. Works must be truthful and objective. Computer-synthesized photos and multiple exposures are not accepted. Each set of works should not exceed 6 images with a written description of no more than 100 words (in a foreign language) for each image or set, providing details such as the time, location, subjects, and context of the shoot. A Chinese translation must be attached. Files must be in JPEG format with EXIF information preserved.
（5）融媒体作品：包括但不限于交互式网页、H5、短视频合集、VR/AR新闻等多媒体融合形式，需至少包含两种及以上媒介形态。须以外语为主要创作语言，配中文翻译（作品中如无中文，则请另附中文翻译）。请提供URL链接或可执行文件。
Integrated Media Works: Works include but are not limited to interactive web pages, H5, short video collections, VR/AR news, and other multimedia forms, requiring at least two or more media types. Works must be primarily created in a foreign language, accompanied by a Chinese translation (if the work does not include Chinese, please attach a Chinese translation separately). Please provide a URL link or executable file.
（6）游戏动漫作品要求：包括原创游戏、动画短片（2D/3D）、漫画插画、新闻互动游戏等，需围绕大赛主题展开。仅以中文为创作语言的作品无参赛资格。须以外语为主要创作语言，配中文翻译（作品中如无中文，则请另附中文翻译）。
Game and Animation Requirements: Works Include original games, animated short films (2D/3D), comics, illustrations, interactive news games, etc., all centered around the competition themes. Works created solely in Chinese are not eligible. They must be primarily created in a foreign language, accompanied by a Chinese translation (if the work does not include Chinese, please attach a Chinese translation separately).
奖项设置 Awards
参赛作品按照文字报道、数据新闻、音频视频、纪实摄影、融媒体作品、游戏动漫六大类别各自评选出一等奖、二等奖、三等奖若干名。
Entries will be evaluated separately in the categories of written reports, data journalism, audio and video works, documentary photography, integrated media works, and games and animations. Awards include several first, second and third prizes.
同一作品只可投稿1个类别，投稿多个类别的，评奖时不可重复获奖。同一作者获奖作品不超过2个。
Each work can only be submitted to one category. If an entry is submitted to multiple categories, it cannot win awards in more than one category. Each author can win awards for no more than two works.
奖金、证书待活动结束后统一发放。
Prize money and certificates will be distributed after the event.
版权要求 Copyright and legal responsibility
1. 参赛作品不能侵犯他人版权、著作权、肖像权、名誉权等其他权利，因参赛作品所引起的一切侵权责任由参赛者自行承担。
Submitted works must not infringe upon the copyrights, portrait rights, reputation rights, or any other rights of others. The entrant is solely responsible for any legal liabilities arising from copyright violations related to the submitted work.
2. 参赛作品的版权归原版权所有人所有，活动主办单位尊重并保障参赛作品的著作权。
The copyright of the submitted works remains with the original copyright holder. The event hosts respect and protect the copyright of all submitted works.
3. 活动主办单位拥有参赛作品的使用权（不另付稿酬），保留对作品的后期技术处理权。使用方式包括用于公益宣传或提供给相关媒体公开展示；组织相关单位加强获奖作品文化价值开发，衍生制作一批文创宣介精品等。
The event hosts hold the right to use the submitted works without additional payment and reserve the right to perform further editing. The use of the submitted works includes but is not limited to public welfare promotions, public display by other media, or collaborating with other organizations to develop cultural products or promotional materials, etc., related to the award-winning works.
4. 团队提交作品之版权和著作权等相关事宜，由报名表上填的“申报人”负责。提交作品必须由“申报人”原创，“申报人”应确认拥有作品的著作权，主办方不承担任何权益纠纷。如若出现任何权益纠纷，主办方保留取消其参与活动资格、追回奖项权利，并追究对主办方权益的侵害的权利。多人共同申报的同一作品，请自行协调作者次序后上传作品。主办方将通过参与者投稿时填写的联系方式联系参与者，请留意并及时回复。
For group submissions, the "Applicant" listed on the application form is responsible for copyright and related matters. The "Applicant" should be the original author or one of the original authors of the work that they submit, and they must hold the copyright to the work. The hosts are not responsible for any rights disputes. If any rights disputes arise, the hosts reserve the right to disqualify the participant, revoke awards, and seek legal action for any infringement of the hosts' rights. For works with multiple authors, please coordinate the order of authors and register it accordingly. The hosts will contact the "Applicant" using the contact information provided, so please check your messages and emails regularly and reply in time.
