“I listened to Xi's speech very attentively, because such a significant date happens only once in my life. Best wishes to the 100th anniversary of the CPC, and I hope that China can be more prosperous.” Said Anna Dotsenko, project manager at China-Ukraine (Huangpu) International Institute of Research and Innovation.

China held a ceremony celebrating the centenary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) at Tian'anmen Square on July 1. GDToday invited Anna Dotsenko to share her take on the celebration and the progress she witnessed during her stay in China.

Under the leadership of the CPC, China has eradicated extreme poverty

This Russian girl was impressed by the fact that China brought about an historic resolution to the problem of absolute poverty. Anna comments, “This is really difficult to achieve in such a large country. Now the Chinese people live in abundance and contentment. China is one of the world powers with high rates of economy, industry, innovation, new technologies, agriculture, etc.”

Anna has been living in China for many years, and now settled down in Guangzhou. “There are many scientific achievements, for example, space exploration, and information is updated every day.” New methods of technology including unmanned taxis and drones are making people’s daily lives more convenient.

She adds: “I love working in China very much. In my computer, there are many plans related to online business dialogues, exhibition promotion meetings and the introduction of innovative talents.”

In the process of working and living here, she feels that China is a strongly united and prosperous country. Under the leadership of the CPC, the Chinese people have worked with one heart to combat the epidemic. Meanwhile, China still maintains economic growth.

China fulfilled its ‘peace and development’ commitments

Anna also noticed China’s commitments to promoting peace, development, cooperation, and mutual benefit, to an independent foreign policy of peace, and to the path of peaceful development.

“We will work to build a new type of international relations and a human community with a shared future, promote high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative through joint efforts, and use China’s new achievements in development to provide the world with new opportunities.” President Xi said in the speech.

Under the Belt and Road Initiative, many Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries want to cooperate with China. Anna is engaged in international cooperation and hopes to be a bridge of partnership.

She is now planning an online video programme to introduce more about manufacturing in Guangzhou, as well as policies of talent recruitment and investment promotion. “In my videos, I would like to talk more about the progress of China, its opportunities and innovations.”
