The Journey to the West, the Legend of Deification and various traditional myths have long been the bedtime stories of most Chinese kids and become the common memory from generation to generation. In the upcoming June, identical Chinese myth characters will be on a grand exhibition in Japan and meet the Japanese audiences.

Fei Ren Zai (directly translated as non-human being) is a popular comic book currently in China created by author Yi Wang Kong Qi. It depicts the funny stories about how these ancient Chinese myth characters are living their life in the modern society.

Being an important component of animation industry, Fei Ren Zai will be presented together with another 135 very best Chinese animations and comics in the exhibition ‘中国アニメ・漫画の日本ツアー、水墨の中から来る’.

Apart from classic masterpieces, famous for their use of ink, paper cut and simple lines, you will find the most popular original pieces currently in China at this exhibition. These artworks from the younger generation of animators and comic artists feature a wide range of styles that might change your perception of Chinese animation.

This will be the first-ever debut for such a large number of Chinese animations and comics in Japan. The event will also include a series of exchange forums and animation screenings, aiming to boost communication between animators and comic artists in the two countries and celebrate the upcoming G20 in Osaka.

In fact, connections between Chinese and Japanese animators began as early as in the 20th century. ‘The Princess of the Iron Fan’ produced in 1940 was the first Chinese animation screened in Japan while the ‘Astroboy’ was the first Japanese animation series broadcast in China and it achieved great success. Co-produced pieces such as ‘The Emperor’s Dream’ are fundamental to China’s animation development.

白龙马、哮天犬...中国古代神话人物日本登场，速来围观！

      哪吒、哮天犬、白龙马、玉兔……这些我们耳熟能详的神话故事人物将随国内人气原创动漫《非人哉》登陆日本大阪、神户、奈良，自6月11日于“中国动漫日本行—从水墨中来”巡展中展出。今天《非人哉》正式发出邀请，欢迎大家速来日本围观！

      今年 6 月，G20 峰会在日本大阪举行，适逢中日友好条约缔结 41 周年，中日双方即将举办“中国动漫日本行”巡展，展览会将国内136部优秀动漫作品带到动漫圣地日本展出！！（136部为截止到目前本花获取数据，具体数据以现场展出为准）

      这既是向日本同好展示我们动漫优秀作品的大好机会，更是跟日本优秀同行交流学习的绝佳良机！！！

      本次展览由中华人民共和国国务院新闻办公室、中华人民共和国国家广播电视总局、中华人民共和国驻日本国大使馆主办，广东省政府新闻办公室、中国美术家协会承办。徐里担任专家委员会主任，金城、林帝浣担任策展顾问。广东省动漫艺术家协会担任执行单位。

      这是中国动漫第一次代表国家大规模出展日本，我们期待由此增进两国人民的友谊，并为大阪G20峰会增添一抹靓丽色彩。此次巡展将以中国传统与当代动漫当中的水墨艺术作为领衔，展出作品相当丰富，且都十分具有“中国风”。

      不仅有像《山水情》、《小蝌蚪找妈妈》、《牧笛》等这样的“中国动画学派”的扛鼎之作，还有像丰子恺《月上柳梢头》、张乐平《三毛流浪记》这样的世纪经典。

      也有像《美丽的森林》、《白蛇：缘起》、中国唱诗班系列作品、腾讯动漫《一人之下》、林帝浣《小林漫画》等具有浓郁中华传统文化特色的艺术佳作。

      同时还会展出Tango、聂峻、阿梗、姚非拉，Benjamin以及早稻等中国漫画中坚力量和新生代漫画家作品，十分值得期待！
