On April 15th, the Guangzhou Charity Association and Guangzhou Helichuangxing Holdings Limited held a ceremony at Tiande Center for the donation of a batch of medical supplies to the Consulate General of Iran in Guangzhou.

Zhang Yankun, Chairman of Guangzhou Helichuangxing Holdings Limited, donated medical supplies worth 1 million yuan to the Consulate General of Iran in Guangzhou.The donation includes over 20,000 surgical masks, 2,400 sets of protective clothing, 700 infrared thermometers and 115 medical 5L oxygen generators.
With the spread of COVID-19 around the world, the fight against the pandemic has become the new normal. When the epidemic broke out in China, Iran was one of the first wave of countries to donate medical supplies to China. Now it is China's turn to return the favor.
Dr. Khalil Shirgholami accepted the donation on behalf of the Iranian government, and extended thanks for the support from China. He said that not just the Chinese government, but enterprises and people from all sectors of the society have offered help for the fight against the coronavirus in Iran. He believes that the two countries will have a closer relationship after the pandemic.

The donated items will be sent to the Iranian people as soon as possible, said Zhang Wei, Vice President and Secretary General of the Guangzhou Charity Association.
