Campus tour to a new international school in GZ

As a second campus to the British School of Guangzhou (BSG), Nord Anglia International School Guangzhou (NAISGZ) is a purpose-built facility for children aged 2-11, offering more opportunity for students to excel through an already-established educational institution.

The school's principal, Mark Thomas, said at NAISGZ, they understand that academic success is central to school life. Rather than merely focusing on test preparation, they believe that it is their job to provide a broad and vibrant curriculum and create a “love of learning” that will lead to success. “In my experience, if children are happy and inspired by great teachers, excellent exam results will always follow,” said Thomas.

When visiting the NAISGZ's art and music classrooms, the principal fully emphasized the importance of the performing arts. “For me, no subject is more important than the performing arts,” he said. “Because children will gain confidence when they stand on the stage and learn words to sing a song. It is just as important as science and math.”
