To build an international talent pool, Nansha has put forward a series of advantageous policies and established 335 technological innovation platforms. The district has also established a well-developed housing policy to solve overseas professionals’ living problems.
According to Nansha, the district has gathered 12,000 high-level professionals over the past five years, an increase of 7.9 times. The number of professionals that applied for the Overseas High-Level Talent Recruitment Programs ranks the second in Guangzhou. The number of postdoctoral researchers accounts for one third of the city’s total.
