Before the long vacation gets started, we’ve selected these places in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Zhongshan and Qingyuan for both parents and children to have fun and get close to nature.

Guangzhou

Maofeng Mountain

There are more than 20 peaks with an altitude of over 200 meters around Maofeng Mountain. Maple leaves, an ancient temple hidden in luxuriant trees, quiet and beautiful "Tianhu" lake...visitors can take a walk in the forest park and relish a breath of fresh air.

Shenzhen

Shenzhen Civic Center

Zhuhai

Wailingding Island

Wailingding Island is also called “Zhuhai Maldives”. It is known for its crystal clear waters and splendid beaches, a great choice to appreciate the spectacles of sunrise and sunset, as well as seafood, especially some rare varieties.

The island is not so big, which means the whole tour will take about one day and a half. It’s also an ideal place for people from nearby cities to spend the weekend: getting away from the city, relax in the sea-breeze, enjoy sunsets in the mountain, and spend one night in a cozy ocean-view room.

Foshan

Fenghuang Mountain Park

Open on June 28, Fenghuang Mountain Park brings the Big Yellow Duck to Zhongshan for the first time.

Situated right in the Fenghuang Mountain Park, the Children’s Park covers an area of about 33 acres, featuring toddlers’ area, sunny lawn area, and children’s amusement facilities, which can meet the needs of children of different ages.

There is also a pond in the children's park. As a good place for residents to relax, it is the home to more than 2,000 pots of lotus, and the varieties includes Zhongshan lotus, Yixian lotus and water lily.

Qingyuan

Shampoola Tourisam & Holiday Forest

Since it was established, Shampoola has always been a wonderland for children with various amusement games, with rowboats on the lake and more.

The mysterious Suoluo (Spiny Tree-fern) Valley boasts Guangdong’s largest Suoluo trees, which are also known as "Living Fossil" Plants. With more than 20 artificial dinosaurs along the way, it will take children back to an ancient world full of mysteries.

Visitors can also go to the zoo and see cute animals.

Fenglin Town

Take a small train across the lake, and take pleasure in the beautiful scenery of karst landscape, bringing new experiences to children.

In this town, you can’t miss the adventure park, where a great variety of animals will make children's eyes open wide.

More than being appreciated, the animals can also "move". With the help of infrared sensing technology, Shanhaijing Park enables tourists to interact with the screen. Both adults and children can have childhood fun here.
