Closed-off communities or villages that meet with certain requirements after assessment can lift their lockdowns, according to the latest notification (No.20) made by the Guangzhou COVID-19 Prevention and Control Command Center on June 13.
The requirements include:
1. There are no new cases after over three rounds of mass nucleic acid testing in 14 consecutive days in the closed-off area, and all people test negative for COVID-19 24 hours before lifting the lockdown.
2. All close contacts have been put under effective medical observation.
3. People with yellow health codes in the area take the COVID-19 test and all receive negative results.
4. Nucleic acid testing results of the samples from related environment are negative.
After the lockdown is lifted, the area should continue to follow other prevention and control measures too.

Eight streets and communities applied for easing lockdown measures today (June 14), according to Chen Bin, deputy head of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission. Chen said that the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Command Center will carry out professional assessments and lift lockdowns in order once they meet the requirements.
The eight streets and communities are:
■ South Noble Garden, Ruibao Street (瑞宝街南洲名苑小区)
■ Zhonghai Yuyuan Garden, Shayuan Street (沙园街道中海橡园小区)
■ Guangzhou Light Industry Technician College South Campus in Pinjiang Street (滨江街道广州市轻工高级技工学校南校区)
■ GAC University Wushan Campus (广汽大学五山校区)
■ Guangzhou Greenview Landscape Design Limited in Zhujiang New Town (广州怡境景观设计有限公司（珠江新城）)
■ Guangzhou Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. (广州市环境保护技术有限公司)
■ Guangzhou Baiyunshan Zhongyi Pharmaceutical Company Limited (广州白云山中一药业有限公司)
■ Jinxiu Peninsula East Area (锦绣半岛东区)

One more area in Guangzhou's Nansha raises COVID-19 risk level
According to a notice issued by the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission at 7pm yesterday, one more area in the city's Nansha District have been elevated to medium-risk area starting from June 13. The area is No. 142, 144, 146, 148, 150 Zhujiang Xi 1st Road, Zhujiang Street, Nansha District, Guangzhou (广州市南沙区珠江街道珠江西一路142、144、146、148、150号).
As of 8pm June 13, there are 2 regions with high-risk and 17 regions with moderate risk in China (all of which are in Guangdong), including 2 high risk areas in Guangzhou, as well as 13 medium risk areas in Guangzhou, 3 in Foshan and 1 in Zhanjiang.
