Fair presents opportunities for cross-border e-commerce

Covering an exhibition area of about 130,000 square meters, the Fair was composed of 11 major exhibition areas. It was attended by a total of 33 cross-border e-commerce platforms, 60 export type industrial belts, around 5,000 suppliers and thousands of professionals from the industry.

The 2021 China Cross-Border E-Commerce Fair (CCEF) was held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou from September 24 to September 26. The Fair was hosted by the China Foreign Trade Centre (Group) and the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce.

Covering an exhibition area of about 130,000 square meters, the Fair was composed of 11 major exhibition areas. It was attended by a total of 33 cross-border e-commerce platforms, 60 export type industrial belts, around 5,000 suppliers and thousands of professionals from the industry.

Exhibitors of the Fair came from the whole industrial chain of cross-border e-commerce, such as logistics, finance, technology, science, training, operation, and brands. Famous cross-border e-commerce platforms included Amazon, Google, eBay and Wal-Mart. Newly-developing platforms contained Shopee, Tospino, SaaS and OTTO. Renowned logistics enterprise PANEX, Global payments and e-commerce services provider PingPong Payments, web browser Super Browser and other enterprises took part in the Fair as well.

Enterprises from Shijiazhuang promote projects at the Fair

Over 40 cross-border e-commerce enterprises from Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, participated in the Trade Fair as exhibitors, actively promoting their projects.

Meanwhile, a forum entitled Shijiazhuang Cross-border E-commerce Project Promotion Conference kicked off during the Fair. Many representatives attended the forum and made detailed promotions in the fields of cross-border e-commerce industry, transportation location, business environment, comprehensive supporting facilities, infrastructure construction, industrial park construction and talent cultivation. They worked to bridge gaps between enterprises from both Shijiazhuang and Guangzhou for further cooperation.

The participants expressed their hope that Guangzhou and Shijiazhuang would jointly explore more specific and in-depth solutions in cross-border e-commerce offshore customs, terminal distribution, cargo flow and capital flow, so that the collaboration between Guangdong and Hebei can achieve more favorable results.
