China and ROK boast a long history of exchanges. The establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992 was an important opportunity to further the ties between the two countries. Next year marks the 30th anniversary of the two sides' diplomatic relations and the China-South Korea Year of Cultural Exchange will be observed in 2021 and 2022.
