According to a notice issued under the authority of?Nansha District released on June 5, an area has been locked down and public transport including buses, subways, ferries, and long-distance passenger transportation have been shut down. The district is going to conduct a round of COVID-19 nucleic acid test for all residents on June 5 and 6.
According to the announcement, the district will implement closed management in Jia'an Garden, Zhujiang Street and residents are required to stay at home.
In the area to the east of Lingxin Avenue of Zhujiang Street (珠江街灵新大道), south of Gongyeluyi Lane (工业路一巷), north of Liuchong (六涌), and Building 20, Yuexiu Binhai New City, Nansha Street (南沙街越秀滨海新城20栋), people are allowed to leave their buildings but not the area and gatherings are prohibited. In all the areas of the district, if any confirmed case is found, closed management will be enforced immediately.
Officials say the district will carry out strict health management. Residents should avoid going out unless necessary. If a resident lives in Nansha (excluding the locked down area) need to go to work or definitely need to go out, he/she is suggested to commute between the two places only with a negative result of nucleic acid testing within 48 hours. And he/she should avoid public transportation.
In order to cooperate with the nucleic acid testing for all residents, from June 5, 2 pm, the operation of urban buses, subways, ferries, and long-distance passenger transportation in the whole district will be suspended. All residents in Nansha District are required to remain in Nansha. All departure channels in Nansha including highways, high-speed rails, and Nansha Passenger Port will be temporarily closed. The recovery time will be announced separately.
Nucleic acid test for all residents to be conducted
Nansha will conduct a round of COVID-19 nucleic acid test for all residents on June 5 and 6, according to a notice issued under the authority of?Nansha District released on June 5.
The tests conducted in designated sites are required for the registered population and temporary residents with valid identity certificates, on the basis of their registered addresses or communities.
If people have just received the COVID-19 vaccine (either the first or second dose), they should take their nucleic acid test at least 24 hours after the vaccine.
While waiting in line for the test, residents should wear a mask all the time, and keep a distance of more than 1 meter from others, as well as avoid conversation and gathering in groups.
Dine-in services suspended
Nansha has suspended the dine-in service of all restaurants in the district since 12:00 June 5. Restaurants can provide takeaway and delivery services only. Virus prevention measures are required at the office canteens in the district.
The Zhujiang Street Community has suspended various enclosed public entertainment venues (such as cinemas, theaters, singing and dancing entertainment venues, Internet service venues, mahjong halls, chess and card rooms, etc.) Virus prevention measures are required in the enclosed venues in other communities.
Guangzhou Metro Line 4 suspends 12 metro stations
According to Guangzhou Metro, 12 stations (Dongchong, Qingsheng, Huangge Auto Town, Huangge, Jiaomen, Jinzhou, Feishajiao, Guanglong, Dachong, Tangkeng, Nanheng, Nansha Passenger Port) have been suspended due to the epidemic prevention and control.
