On December 3, one positive case of an employee was reported by a quarantine hotel in Guangzhou's Baiyun District. The individual lives in Poly Purple Town Community, with nucleic tests being all negative before December 3, and tested positive on December 3.

The case has been transferred to Guangzhou Eighth People's Hospital for isolation treatment. Key places such as Poly Purple Town, Redbud Garden, and Tangchong Primary School in Xinshi Street and Wenxing Hotel in Junhe Street are under temporary restriction. Mass nucleic acid testing is beingcarried out immediately at above areas.
