On Shancun Road, Shiweitang Street, Fangcun Village, a bus stopped by the side of the road, and many residents lined up in front of the bus but they haven’t come to take the bus, this is their daily visit to a mobile “supermarket”.

Since June 9th, 6 buses have been entering the closed community in Liwan District of Guangzhou every day. The buses are stocked with meat, vegetables, rice noodles, milk, canned food, fruits and other daily necessities, which form a cheap and convenient supermarket that is popular among residents.

"The nearby market is closed, and I don't know how to shop online. Without these buses, I would go to a place far away from home to buy food, it was really hot” said a resident who was in queue.

In the enclosed area of Fangcun, the residents were mostly concerned about the supply of daily necessities. Now, with the support of e-commerce platforms, food groups and Guangzhou City Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, the normal lives of residents have been more thoroughly protected.
