To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, about sixty GDToday fans joined us in two mooncake making activities at the revolving restaurant on the 17th floor of Aiqun hotel on September 19th and 27th. These fans come from both China and overseas including the US, the UK, Germany, Poland, and the Philippines.
Chinese and overseas friends visited the Aiqun hotel, the unique Guangzhou-style arcade building on Yanjiang Road, and learned how to make traditional and snowy skin mooncakes from the Dim-sum chef to experience the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival culture.
The expats who participated in the event are currently living in Guangzhou. They commented that this kind of activity not only enriches their leisure lives, but also helps them to attain a deeper understanding of Guangdong’s folk customs and culture, so as to better integrate into local society.
GDToday wishes you a happy Mid-Autumn Festival in advance!
