The trailer of 2021 Guangzhou International Fashion Industry Conference

With fashion shows, product launches, and professional forums, the 2021 Guangzhou International Fashion Industry Conference will kick off from December 28 to 29 at the Canton Tower, aiming to present the development and potential of this city's fashion industry.

On December 28, with the night view of the Canton Tower as the background, several original brands of Guangzhou's fashion supply chain will hold a joint show incorporating Chinese traditional style and culture, a trend known as Guochao (国潮), in bid to showcase their "new strength" and "new advantage".

Due to the increasing demand of younger Chinese young people for Chinese-style products, this conference will focus on the interpretation of oriental fashion to highlight the integration of traditional Chinese fashion brands and contemporary trends.

During the conference, Lin Jinliang, one of China's top 10 fashion designers in 2012, will combine fashion elements with movie characters' stories; Qingyunshe, a team consisting of OMC Hairworld champions, will hold a special hairstyle fashion show; and the representatives of Guangzhou's leading makeup brands will launch a series of products featuring quintessence of Chinese culture.

It is also worth mentioning that the event will be held both online and offline. Setting up a "flower city fashion live streaming room" and inviting fashion celebrities, internet celebrity hosts and fashion bloggers to attend the conference on site, this event will further display Guangzhou as a "fashion capital".

In addition, domestic experts, scholars, designers, and brand representatives will gather together at the forums of the conference, in order to discuss topics about the development environment of the fashion industry at home and abroad, the digital mode of the fashion industry, cross-industry integration development and so on, exploring how Guangzhou can give full play to the advantages of fashion brand industry and enhance the degree of internationalization.
